Reliability assessment of grid-connected multi-inverter for renewable power generation sector

Purpose The paper aims to present a grid-connected multi-inverter for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems enhance reliability indices after selected the placement and level of PV solar. Design/methodology/approach In this study, associated probability is calculated based on power generation capacity levels outages conditions. Then, probability, dependability like average energy not supplied (AENS), expected loss load expectations (LOLE) are computed, also, another have been computed such as (customer interruption duration index (CAIDI), system frequency (SAIFI) (SAIDI)) addressing by affected customers with distribution networks assessment, including PV. On basis their active flow, several modules installed in places analyzed. A mechanism assessing performance grid's integration renewable sources also under investigation. Findings findings study data extracted form plant connected network Diyala, Iraq 132 kV, attempts identify system's weakest points order improve overall dependability. addition, enhanced given measuring grid reviewed benefit customers. Originality/value main contributions two methods determining generators taking into consideration component failure rates electronic defect which depend input using electrical transient analysis program (ETAP) program.
